The SLS-50 series intelligent stable light source can provide ultra stable optical signals at multiple wavelengths. When used in conjunction with our OPM-50 series optical power meter, it can accurately measure fiber loss and provide precise data for evaluating the transmission quality of fiber optic links; It can also provide precise and stable modulation signals, which can be used in conjunction with fiber optic identifiers to accurately identify optical fibers.

Automatic wavelength switching
The SLS-50 can send wavelength recognition signals with digital encryption protocol, which can be automatically recognized and switched to the corresponding wavelength for testing by OPM-50 series optical power meters and loss testers with the same protocol. This function greatly reduces the communication needs of personnel at both ends of the test and reduces the occurrence of potential errors. In addition, the SLS-50 can flexibly select the working wavelength that needs to be tested. After selecting and turning on the light source, the working wavelength will automatically cycle and switch, which is convenient for engineering applications.

Adjustable range of 6dB output power
The output power can be adjusted within a range of 6dB with a minimum step size of 0.01dB, making it convenient for users to apply under various demand conditions (650nm not adjustable).

Remote reference value setting
By using digital encryption signal technology, the luminous power parameters of the light source can be transmitted to the receiving end as reference values, so that even if the two ends are far apart, the reference power value can be quickly set and the link loss can be accurately measured.

Suitable for FTTx/PON testing
The SLS-50 series can be used for passive optical networks (PON) and tested at four wavelengths: 1310nm, 1490nm, 1550nm, and 1625.

LCD directly monitors the output power of the light source
The professional design of the SLS-50 series light source allows the output power value of the light source to be directly displayed on the LCD, making testing work faster and clearer.
