Structural principles and characteristics:
SK, 2SK type and YK, 2YK type liquid ring vacuum pumps are equipped with multi blade rotors eccentrically installed in the pump casing. When the blades rotate, due to the centrifugal force, the liquid in the pump casing forms a liquid ring concentric with the pump casing. The volume between the liquid ring and the rotor blades changes periodically, thereby achieving the pumping effect. The characteristics are low energy consumption, low noise, and wide adaptability. In addition to extracting general gases, it can also extract steam and flammable and explosive gases; If the material of the main components is changed or surface treatment is carried out, corrosive gases can be extracted, and appropriate working fluids can be selected. Sometimes, the extracted medium can also be used as the working fluid, so almost all industrial gases can be extracted. Therefore, it is widely used in vacuum process treatment in various departments such as light industry, chemical industry, food, power, and medicine.

1. Choose according to different vacuum levels:
Single stage SK type water ring vacuum pump is selected for long-term operation in the range of 1.3 × 104~1 × 105 Pa (100~760 Torr).
For long-term operation in the range of 5 × 103-1.3 × 104 Pa (40-100 Torr), a two-stage 2SK water ring vacuum pump is selected.
For long-term operation in the range of 1 × 103-1.3 × 104 Pa (8-40 Torr), a two-stage 2YK oil ring vacuum pump is selected.
2. Selection of working medium:
Normal temperature water should be ≤ 15 ℃ and generally should not exceed 40 ℃.
Transformer oil or other industrial oils with low viscosity and low saturated vapor pressure, with a maximum applicable temperature not exceeding 60 ℃.
Chemical liquids, directly using chemical raw materials (liquids that require low saturation vapor pressure). Such as ethanolamine.
3. Shaft seal selection:
Pan root sealing can be used in general workplaces.
Mechanical seals can be used in situations where no leakage is required.
4. Material selection:
Except for the shaft, all other parts are made of cast iron or copper alloySuitable for suctioning non corrosive gases.
304 and 316 stainless steel, suitable for suctioning gases containing certain corrosiveness.
5. System configuration selection:
Opening system: The working fluid at the outlet is not reused or partially reused.
Closed system: The working fluid at the outlet cannot be discharged and needs to be recycled for use.
