SGC-4400 Stirling cooler

The SGC-4400 Stirling gas regulator from Apex Instruments is specifically designed for removing moisture from sample gases prior to analysis. This new type of air cooler uses an industrial grade high-efficiency free piston Stirling cooler (FPSC), which can cool gases to a constant dew point.

The SGC-4400 Stirling gas regulator from Apex Instruments is specifically designed for removing moisture from sample gases prior to analysis. This new type of air cooler uses an industrial grade high-efficiency free piston Stirling cooler (FPSC), which can cool gases to a constant dew point.
FPSC is superior to commonly used Rankine compressors or thermoelectric refrigeration devices. For example, the FPSC refrigeration module uses a small amount of environmentally safe helium gas as the refrigerant. The module has a stainless steel shell seal, which can be quickly installed and replaced when necessary.
