Clever design, simple operation and application
The test sample is fixed on a horizontal sample table and worn out as the sample table moves horizontally under the specified abrasive and load. The other end of the test arm is equipped with a weight to maintain its balance and ensure the accuracy of the sample surface load. The height of the abrasive and load rack can be adjusted to suit the testing of samples at different heights. Parameters such as stroke, speed, and load can be adjusted.
The testing arm uses the principle of a lever to adjust the load on the sample surface with a weight at one end to ensure the reliability of the experimental results. The Taber5900 reciprocating wear machine is used to evaluate the wear resistance, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, and other physical performance tests of materials. There are specialized accessories available to meet the testing method of GMW14125, which uses different friction media to test the wear resistance of textiles.

Using a special testing arm kit (to be purchased separately), the Taber5900 reciprocating wear machine can simultaneously test three types of samples, allowing operators to conduct timely evaluations between samples.
