Application of rapid temperature measurement thermocouple:

Thermocouples are used for direct and accurate measurement of liquid metals. This method is simple and effective, with low testing costs and short immersion time during measurement, usually 5 seconds.

The POSITHERM temperature probe is an integral unit and no further preparation is required before measurement. Just insert the probe into the measuring gun and connect it tightly with the connector. Connect the measuring gun to the thermometer through corresponding compensation cables.

Heraeus Electric Measurement Knight Company has all specifications of temperature measuring thermocouples, with models including Pt10% RhPt, Pt3% RhPt, and Pt30% Pt6/RH. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of working conditions in casting production, more attention has been paid to the safety of operators. In order to meet the strict safety regulations of the factory, Heraeus Electric Testing Knight Company has developed splash proof technology, taking into account environmental requirements. Its main components are refractory clay, expanded glass particles, glass fibers, and binders. We highly recommend operators to use splash proof temperature probes when standing near liquid metal, such as in small ladles, furnaces, intermediate ladles, and crystallizers. Its type, viscosity, performance, and other parameters are the same as standard Posithem thermocouples. Under certain conditions, the splash proof thermocouple can be used multiple times, although it is not specifically designed for this purpose. The reusable temperature probe is designed to measure small amounts of slag free liquid metal, and the Heraeus Electric Measurement Knight also provides reusable temperature probes. Place the thermocouple in an ultra long quartz protective tube and encapsulate it inside a ceramic body. The number of measurements taken by each thermocouple will vary depending on the time interval of continuous insertion and the temperature of the molten steel. We suggest using a small paper tube to protect the connector and probe connection tube during measurement.

There is a repetition between casting and temperature measurement, where the wireless portable thermometer for casting is covered with the wireless thermometer for temperature measurement.
