The ultrasonic level gauge is vertically installed on the surface of the liquid, emitting an ultrasonic pulse to the liquid surface. After a period of time, the sensor of the ultrasonic level gauge receives the signal reflected back from the liquid surface. The signal is selected and processed by the transmitter circuit, and the distance from the liquid surface to the sensor is calculated based on the time difference between the ultrasonic level gauge emitting and receiving ultrasonic waves. Due to the use of * microprocessor and * EchoDiscovery echo processing technology, ultrasonic level gauges can be applied to various complex working conditions. Integrated ultrasonic level gauge refers to an ultrasonic level gauge with a probe and a housing combined together.

1) The distance from the sensor emission surface to the lowest liquid level should be less than the range of the selected instrument.

2) The distance from the sensor emission surface to the highest liquid level should be greater than the blind spot of the selected instrument.

3) The emission surface of the sensor should be parallel to the liquid surface.

4) The installation position of the sensor should try to avoid positions where the liquid level fluctuates violently, such as the inlet and outlet directly below.

5) If the pool wall or tank wall is not smooth, the instrument needs to be at least 0.3m away from the pool wall or tank wall.

6) If the distance from the sensor emission surface to the maximum liquid level is less than the blind spot of the selected instrument, an extension tube should be installed with a diameter greater than 120mm and a length of 0.35m to 0.50m. The extension tube should be installed vertically with a smooth inner wall, and the opening on the tank should be larger than the inner diameter of the extension tube. Alternatively, the pipe can be directly connected to the bottom of the tank, with a diameter greater than 80mm, and a hole can be left at the bottom of the pipe to facilitate the flow of liquid.

There is strong voltage, strong current, and strong electromagnetic interference around, so try to avoid high voltage, high current, and strong electromagnetic interference as much as possible

Strong winds and direct sunlight

Strong vibration

Highly volatile liquids and on-site environments with a large amount of water vapor

Easy to crystallize liquid

When encountering the above on-site environment, one should carefully choose to use it. The accuracy of the measured values may decrease, and the data may be unstable. Generally, it is not recommended to use ultrasonic level gauges for measurement.
