Product Details

1 QC 823 RangeRNA mitochondrial multilevel blood quality control product

Blood gas, electrolyte, metabolite quality control products

(1) Product Usage

RNA mitochondrial multilevel blood quality control productBelonging to quality control materials that have been analyzed and certified, the core purpose is to monitor the performance of blood gas, electrolyte, and metabolite detection instruments. It can cover various analytes and detection instruments listed in the expected value chart, ensuring the stability and accuracy of the instruments in clinical testing.

(2) Product specifications

  • Concentration levelProvide two concentration levels, each with analyte values higher or lower than traditional quality control levels, which can expand the range of instrument performance monitoring values and meet quality control requirements in different detection scenarios.

  • packaging formSealed glass ampoules are used for packaging, with each ampoule containing 2.5ml of solution; Each box contains 30 ampoules for easy batch storage and use in the laboratory.

(3) Active ingredients

Composed of a buffered aqueous solution containing electrolytes (Na ⁺, K ⁺, Cl ⁻, Ca ² ⁺, Mg ² ⁺), glucose, and lactate, and equilibrated with specific concentrations of CO ₂, O ₂, and N ₂.

(4) Storage conditions

  • When stored in refrigeration (2-8 ℃), the expiration date is based on the label on the packaging.

  • It can also be stored at room temperature (25 ℃) for 9 months, provided that it does not exceed the expiration date indicated.

  • Special attention should be paid to avoiding freezing and high temperature environments exceeding 30 ℃ to prevent any impact on product performance.

(5) Usage method

  1. thermal equilibriumBefore use, the quality control product should be equilibrated to 20-25 ℃, and the ampoule should be equilibrated for at least 4 hours to ensure that the temperature meets the requirements during testing and reduce the impact of temperature on the test results.

  2. sample processing

    • Before use, hold the top and bottom of the ampoule with your index finger and thumb, shake for 10 seconds to mix the solution evenly, then gently tap the ampoule to allow the liquid to reflux to the bottom.

    • Use gauze, tissues, gloves, or a specialized ampoule opener to protect your fingers and break the ampoule from the scratch to avoid cuts.

  3. Detection operation

    • When detecting pH and blood gas values, analysis should be carried out immediately after opening the ampoule to prevent changes in gas composition from affecting the results.

    • When detecting electrolytes, glucose, and lactate, the sample should remain stable within 1 hour after the ampoule is opened, and the detection should be completed within this time period.

    • According to the quality control material sampling instructions provided by the instrument manufacturer, the liquid in the ampoule is introduced into the detection instrument through techniques such as direct suction, syringe transfer, or capillary mode.

(6) Expected value explanation

  • The values of each quality control analyte in the expected value chart are determined based on multiple measurements of randomly selected samples from each batch.

  • The numerical values corresponding to each instrument represent the expected range and average value of the ampoule when tested at 25 ℃; Please note that for every deviation of 25 ℃ and 1 ℃ in ampoule temperature, the PO ₂ value changes by approximately 1% in reverse.

  • The expected values are only used as a reference for evaluating instrument performance. Due to differences in instrument design and operating conditions in different laboratories, each laboratory should establish its own exclusive expected values and control limits.
