Cable detectors are commonly used instruments in the construction and maintenance of communication and power cables, which can accurately determine the location and burial depth of underground cables and metal pipelines, or accurately locate obstacles in the core wires of overhead cables. It provides convenience for the renovation, expansion, and maintenance of cables and pipelines, reduces the need for ground control, and saves manpower, material resources, and time. Therefore, it is an instrument for various post offices and industrial and mining enterprises.
main purpose
This instrument has high anti-interference ability, which increases the signal-to-noise ratio by 40dB and is suitable for working in strong power interference environments.
1. It can detect the direction and burial depth of underground cables and metal pipelines, with a plane position error of no more than 5 centimeters.
2. Can detect mixed wires of empty cable cores and ground air obstacles, with a contact resistance of no more than 2 kiloohms at the obstacle points.
3. Equipped with a probe (grounding gauge), it can detect mixed wires and ground air obstruction points of unshielded underground buried plastic cables, and the contact resistance of ground air obstruction points should not exceed 2.5 megaohms.
