Pump impeller laser welding machine
Product Introduction:
Stainless steel impeller is an important component of stainless steel pump, and its size and accuracy directly affect the hydraulic performance of the pump. Especially closed impellers, due to their high efficiency, are widely used in centrifugal pumps with high head and efficiency. Traditionally, there are three common methods for welding stainless steel water pump impeller blades: hydrogen arc welding, resistance welding, and capacitor energy storage welding.
However, with the development of laser processing technology, there have been continuous attempts by enterprises to replace traditional welding with laser welding. The earliest and most successful application was the CO2 laser welding machine, but its high price made many enterprises hesitate. Aoxin Laser was the first to try to use the traditional YAG laser welding machine, combining high-power penetration welding with the improvement of water pump blades. We have developed and designed a practical and cost-effective water pump impeller laser welding machine, which has been used by Guangdong Lingxiao Pump Industry. After a two-year trial period and process improvement, Aoxin Laser finally entered the Lingxiao Pump Industry welding workshop in 2014 in bulk. As far as we know, it currently uses YAG laser Laser welding machine for welding water pump blades. Aoxin Laser is the first and only successful and mass-produced manufacturer. Laser welding technology has the following advantages in stainless steel impeller processing:
1. The input amount is small, and the shrinkage and deformation of the workpiece are relatively small.
2. Welding has continuity and repeatability.
3. The weld seam is narrow and has good surface quality, beautiful appearance, and high weld strength.
4. Welding is easy to achieve automation
5. For irregular impellers, other welding methods are difficult to achieve, but laser welding is relatively easy to achieve.
6. The welding efficiency is relatively high.
Through practical applications, we can see that laser welding has the advantages of good welding quality, deep penetration, firm welding, low input quantity, small workpiece deformation, high welding efficiency, and easy implementation of automated production. The practical high-power laser welding machine for water pump impellers, with its superior performance and good practicality, will be a trend in the water pump industry in the future.
The core component of a laser welding system is the laser, which generates the laser. The welding quality of the workpiece is mainly guaranteed by the energy generated by the laser. To ensure that the laser generates sufficient energy, attention should be paid to the following two aspects when using laser welding equipment:
1. Ensure that the laser welding equipment is operated in a constant temperature, low dust, and relatively low humidity working environment.
2. Select reasonable welding process parameters based on the thickness of the welded impeller plate: a. Welding current b. Frequency c. Pulse width d. Focal length e. Welding speed
3. Ensure that the welding gap of the workpiece is within the coverage of the laser spot.
With the development of laser processing technology, stainless steel impellers with complex structures and small water outlets can be made of SUS304 stainless steel plates. After stamping, stretching and other processes, they can be welded using laser welding technology. The workpiece not only has good welding appearance quality, but also has high weld strength, small workpiece deformation, and high production efficiency, making it an ideal welding process method.
