The current meter is a kind of conventional universal instrument for measuring the flow velocity in the hydrometry. It is used to measure the average flow velocity in the period of time at the predetermined measuring points in the river, lake, reservoir, channel and other water cross sections, and can also be used to measure the flow velocity in pressure pipes and some scientific experiments.
The current meter shall comply with relevant national standards such as GB/T11826-2002 "Rotary Current Meter".
