It has a compact and lightweight structure, easy operation, and is suitable for powder production and spraying enterprises in China. 2. Applicability statement: Powder flowability is an extremely important characteristic of powder coatings, and the flowability of finished powder is closely related to the specific gravity, particle size distribution, looseness, and production process of the powder. 4. Operating instructions for CQ-360 powder flowability tester
Powder flowability testerThe operation is very simple:
A) Connect the compressed air interface
B) Seal the small outlet on the bottom of the fluidized cup with adhesive tape
C) Weigh 250 grams of the powder sample to be tested and place it in fluidized cup 6
D) Open knob 2 until the scale on pressure gauge 4 indicates 1-3kgf
E) Adjust the flow meter button to 200 l/h and let the powder flow for about 20-30 seconds. Use a plastic ruler with a scale to test the maximum height of the powder, which can be measured at three testing points. Take the average value, denoted as h1, in centimeters (cm), accurate to millimeters (mm)
F) Turn off the flowmeter button and let the powder in the fluidization cup stand for 10 seconds. The method is to test the maximum height of the powder as before, and take the average of three points, denoted as h0, in centimeters (cm), accurate to millimeters (mm)
G) Restart the flow meter until the compressed air flow rate reaches 200l/h, allowing the powder to fully fluidized. Open the seal on the bottom of the fluidized drum, weigh and record the mass of powder flowing out within 30 seconds, denoted as m, accurate to grams (g)
H) Clean the instrument and calculate the flowability index of the powder using the formula: R=m h1/h0 R: flowability index, m, h1 h0 as above.

5. Precautions for use
This instrument is used at room temperature and moderate conditions
The compressed air used should be clean, free of water vapor and oil
The fluidized glass cup is made of organic glass and is fragile. It should be handled with care during operation.
Compressed air knobs and air flow meters are precision instruments, and excessive force should be avoided during operation.
After each test, thoroughly blow away any residual powder inside and outside the instrument with compressed air, and avoid using water or solvents for treatment.
When not in use, plastic sheeting or similar materials can be used for sealing.
