Product Introduction

The Casting Sample Cup is a specialized tool designed for metallurgical sampling during the iron and steel casting process. It is used to collect and solidify molten metal samples, allowing for accurate chemical composition and thermal analysis. The sample cup plays a vital role in quality control, ensuring each batch meets required specifications before further processing.

The poured sample cup is a consumption sensor used by the thermal analyzer to measure the quality of molten iron. The requirements for high-quality poured sample cups are:  heat capacity and thermal conductivity of each batch of poured sample cups are consistent, the thermal inertia of the sensor is low, and the phase change temperature measurement accuracy is high. The simple method to evaluate the poured sample cup is: conduct continuous measurements under the same temperature, composition, incubation, deterioration and other conditions, and compare the deviation distribution of the phase transition temperature between each poured sample cup. The smaller the deviation distribution, the better the quality of the sample cup.

The KD-W type cast-samped cup adopts a reasonable and reliable cup body design to ensure that the polarity is  connected to the thermal analyzer connector correctly and accurately. The vertical special glass protective tube design makes the cooling curve with faster response speed, a wide casting temperature range, good repeatability and strong stability, and a very high measurement rate.

FAQ

Q1: What metals can the Casting Sample Cup be used with?

A: It is primarily designed for molten cast iron and steel.

Q2: How is the sample cup used?

A: Molten metal is poured into the cup immediately after tapping. The metal solidifies and is then analyzed.

Q3: What is the purpose of tellurium in the sample cup?

A: Tellurium promotes a fine white solidification structure, which is ideal for thermal analysis of carbon and silicon.

Q4: Is the cup reusable?

A: No. It is designed for one-time use to avoid cross-contamination.

Q5: Can it be used with all thermal analysis systems?

A: Yes, the cup is compatible with most industry-standard instruments.
