Usage steps:

Before using the instrument, connect the SMA connector to the probe connector;

2. When preparing for measurement, insert the probe into the ultrasonic cleaning tank;

3. Press the power button (button 3) to turn on the system and enter the power on interface;

When the probe detects ultrasound, it automatically performs measurement. The screen dynamically displays real-time sound intensity values, maximum sound intensity values, ultrasound frequencies, and waveform curves;

After turning on the instrument, long press the function key (key 6) to enter the function setting state. The background of the setting icon in the lower left corner of the instrument turns blue, indicating that the function is selected. Press the right shift key (key 7) to switch the function icon to the right; Press the left shift key (key 6) to switch the function icon to the left;

6. Switch to the selected function icon, press the confirm button (button 4) to enter the function interface, and press the confirm button (button 4) to switch between various parameters; Press the cursor movement key (key 3) to move the cursor position of the current parameter, press the number plus key (key 6) to increase the size of the current cursor position, and press the number minus key (cursor 7) to decrease the size of the current cursor position; After modifying the data, press the confirm button (button 4) to save the current set parameters, and long press the exit button (button 4) to return to the main interface;

After turning on the instrument, long press the power button (button 3), and the instrument will automatically shut down with a black screen;

6、 Instructions for use

1. Ensure the use of calibrated probes from our factory. Using other uncalibrated probes may result in measurement errors, and in severe cases, the instrument may be burned out.

2. Do not use the instrument in high temperature and humid conditions.

3. Do not open the casing without authorization, as it contains precision electronic components.

If reinstalling or replacing the battery, please be careful not to plug the positive and negative terminals of the battery in the opposite direction;

If the instrument is not used for a long time, please remove the battery inside the instrument to prevent battery leakage.

6. The probe is a precision component, please handle it with care and avoid hitting, dropping, or touching metal solids.

7、 Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

1. The data keeps showing as zero

Answer: If the probe is placed in the air, the sound intensity measuring instrument will immediately display a real-time sound intensity value of 0.00 W/cm2 and a frequency value of 0.00KHz. If the probe is inserted into the working cleaning tank at this time, the instrument or probe will be damaged and the entire set needs to be sent back to our company for repair.

2. I feel that the reading is not accurate

Answer: The sound intensity of ultrasound is a complex concept that cannot be directly obtained by dividing the total power by the radiation area. It must be measured. The sound intensity measuring instrument produced by our company has undergone standard sound intensity calibration before leaving the factory, so the measured value is the actual sound intensity value. In the concept of sound intensity, there is a limit concept, which means that when the sound intensity in water reaches a certain threshold, even if the transducer and power are increased, the sound intensity may not increase linearly or even change.

3. High frequency equipment cannot measure

Answer: The sound intensity measuring instrument produced by our company is specifically designed for commonly used ultrasonic cleaning machines, covering a frequency range of 10-100kHz. When the measured frequency range is higher than this frequency range, it may result in measurement failure or inaccurate measurement. There are two ways to solve similar situations.

(1) Please inform us of the frequency range you are measuring. Our company specializes in producing paired display tables and probes.

(2) Directly use an oscilloscope for relative measurement. Using an oscilloscope to directly connect to our company's probe, relative determination of sound intensity can be made by reading the time-domain signal of the oscilloscope. However, this method cannot measure sound intensity values and can only perform size comparisons.

4. The reading is abnormal, even if it is not placed in liquid, there are still readings

Answer: This issue is caused by damage to the instrument or probe, which needs to be sent back to our company for repair.
