With the rapid development of the catering industry, the problem of oil fume pollution has become increasingly prominent and has become one of the hotspots of environmental complaints. The routine monitoring of oil fume pollution in the catering industry is also receiving increasing attention from all walks of life. Due to the intermittent emission of cooking fumes in the catering industry, with varying concentrations, traditional detection methods require high on-site testing conditions. Samples need to be taken back to the laboratory for analysis, and the detection cycle is long, making it difficult to quickly obtain real-time monitoring data on site, resulting in difficulties in on-site monitoring and law enforcement. The measurement accuracy of traditional detection methods is affected by factors such as sampling process, sampling equipment, CCL4 purity, and operator experience, and the carcinogenicity of CCL4 is also detrimental to the physical and mental health of operators. Therefore, seeking a method suitable for on-site supervision and inspection of cooking fumes in the catering industry has become an urgent task.
After years of dedicated research and cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, our company has launched a new generation of fast oil fume detection instrument that applies the principle of electrostatic field charging (i.e., using an electrostatic field to charge oil fume particles and measuring oil fume concentration by detecting the particle charge), achieving on-site direct reading of oil fume concentration.
Main Features
Real time display of detection data, no need for laboratory analysis
High detection accuracy and good data repeatability
On site printing of detection data (maximum value, minimum value, and average value)
◆ Can simultaneously measure dynamic pressure, static pressure, temperature, etc. of oil fume emissions
◆ One machine with multiple uses, capable of detecting non edible oil fumes (such as asphalt smoke, pine smoke, etc.)
◆ Automatically measure and track gas flow rate, calculate oil fume emissions

HS32-Comparison between MH3100 portable rapid oil fume detector and traditional methods:
project |
Traditional detection methods |
MH3100 portable rapid oil fume detector method |
Detection Time |
Unable to detect the concentration of oil fume emissions on site, unable to enforce the law on site. It takes about 2 days to obtain each set of data. |
On site inspection, real-time reading, and on-site law enforcement. The detection data can be stored and printed. Read 1 set of data every 3 seconds, with a detection cycle of 2-15 minutes. |
Usage and Operation |
It requires steps such as sampling, extraction, analysis, and calculation, which are tedious and require personnel from both on-site sampling and experimental analysis departments to complete together. |
The operation is simple and convenient, and the data storage interval can be set freely. It automatically analyzes the maximum, minimum, and average values of oil fume concentration over a period of time. |
detection accuracy |
The measurement accuracy is affected by factors such as sampling equipment, CCL4 purity, and operator experience. The increase in blank values after multiple uses of the filter cartridge can also affect data accuracy. |
Fully automatic measurement, high detection accuracy, good data repeatability, avoiding the impact of on-site environment or human operation. |
operating cost |
Using high-purity CCL4 each time incurs higher costs. |
Easy to maintain, with extremely low maintenance and operating costs. |

CCL used for extraction4It poses a great threat to personal health. |
The testing process has no adverse effects on the human body. |
