The FluidScan portable lubricant analyzer is easy to operate, requiring only one drop of sample to obtain test results in one minute. It is a portable infrared analyzer for monitoring lubricant and grease contamination. The device includes an expandable oil database, allowing users to easily add oil samples from outside the database. This device is based on direct reading infrared spectroscopy (DIR) technology, which is used to directly quantitatively analyze the key state indicators of lubricating oil, and directly measure the aging and pollution levels of synthetic oil or mineral oil. The direct quantitative detection results include: total acid value TAN, total base number TBN, oxidation degree, nitrification degree, sulfurization degree, additive loss, mixed oil pollution, micro water, residual carbon, ethylene glycol (coolant pollution), oil matching degree, and fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) in biodiesel. It meets ASTM D7889- the standard testing method for on-site quantitative detection of physical and chemical indicators of in use oil using infrared methods.
