Product Principle
Principle of X-ray Fluorescence Technology
By bombarding the sample with X-rays, the sample is excited and produces X-ray fluorescence. X-rays usually knock out the inner layer electrons of the K and L layers of the element atoms, filling the holes with high-energy outer layer electrons. The high-energy electrons added to the low-energy orbitals radiate the excess energy through X-ray fluorescence. These radiated spectral lines contain various elemental features, like fingerprints, and are independent of the chemical valence state of the atoms. The intensity of radiation is directly proportional to the concentration of the element in the sample.

Principles of Raman Spectroscopy Technology
Raman spectroscopy is a non-destructive analysis technique that is based on the interaction between light and materials. Raman spectroscopy can provide detailed information on the chemical structure, phase and morphology, crystallinity, and molecular interactions of samples.
Raman is a light scattering technique. When high-intensity incident light from a laser source is scattered by molecules, most of the scattered light has the same wavelength (color) as the incident laser, and this scattering is called Rayleigh scattering. However, there is still a very small portion (approximately 1/109) of scattered light with a wavelength (color) different from the incident light, and the change in wavelength is determined by the chemical structure of the test sample (so-called scattering substance). This portion of scattered light is called Raman scattering.

The X-ray fluorescence analysis system mainly includes X-ray tubes, X-ray fluorescence detectors, multi filter switching devices, automatic zero calibration devices, and digital multi-channel analyzers.
PeDX RAMAN adopts imported X-ray tubes and X-ray fluorescence detectors, which have the characteristics of stable operating performance, high counting rate, and high X-ray excitation efficiency. In addition, PeDX RAMAN also adopts semiconductor electric refrigeration technology, ensuring high spectral resolution of the instrument and the performance advantage of no peak drift or peak expansion phenomenon.
Raman spectroscopy analysis system
PeDX RAMAN is equipped with an enhanced detector and a high-power frequency stable laser, which can achieve better signal-to-noise ratio and higher dynamic range. The adjustable laser output power can meet the different needs of various samples. The 785nm excitation wavelength can avoid most fluorescence interference while ensuring sufficient Raman sensitivity. The measurement can usually be completed in just a few seconds, achieving fast and reliable on-site measurement.
Application software system
The application software system combines XRF analysis system with Raman analysis system, with built-in multi-level matching algorithm, fluorescence digestion algorithm, mixture algorithm, FP method and other chemometric algorithms, making it easy to achieve one click results. In addition, the system has a multi-target screening function, which compares the detection data with all items in the database to obtain more accurate detection results.
