The portable M-BUS meter reading box is an important component of the portable meter reading system. The meters in residential buildings are connected to the meter reading socket at the entrance of each unit through the M-BUS bus. During meter reading, the meter reading personnel can carry a portable M-BUS meter reading box to the entrance of each unit to achieve fast meter reading, greatly improving meter reading efficiency and avoiding data errors and omissions. 1. The portable meter reading box adopts an aluminum alloy box body, and the handheld device, communication cable, rechargeable power supply, and bus plug are all located in the shoulder span box body;
2. The portable meter reading system is very convenient to use: during meter reading, meter readers can carry shoulder span meter reading boxes to various meter reading sockets to read user data;
3. Quick meter reading: Each bus can carry up to 128 meters, and the reading time is less than 3 minutes, making it convenient and fast;
4. The meter reading box is equipped with a rechargeable battery: it has a large energy storage capacity and high utilization efficiency. After being fully charged, it can continuously read more than 4600 meters;
5. Normally, the meter and M-BUS bus are not electrified, so there is no need to consider power supply issues. Only when reading meter data will it be powered by the meter reading box, and the meter reading time does not exceed three minutes, effectively reducing the aging of meter components and extending the service life of the meter;
6. The portable meter reading box comes with an intelligent charging device that uses high-performance imported chips for charging monitoring. It can be charged in stages according to the actual situation of the battery, effectively extending its service life;
7. Adopting humanized design: equipped with M-BUS bus transmission/reception data indication, overload alarm indication, bus power indication, and working status indication. The working status of the equipment is clear at a glance and easy to operate;
8. The meter reading box adopts a one key on/off method, which avoids the problem of poor contact of mechanical switches;
9. The bus power supply is automatically controlled by handheld commands. The bus power supply is automatically turned on at the beginning of meter reading and automatically turned off after meter reading is completed. If there is no operation for 3 minutes, the power will automatically turn off. Even if the meter reader forgets to turn off the power switch, it will not consume additional battery power.
