Polypropylene carbonate (PPC) reaction device, PPC is a biodegradable aliphatic polyester prepared by copolymerization of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO ₂) and epichlorohydrin under catalyst, certain temperature and pressure conditions. PPC itself is non-toxic and odorless, and has excellent biodegradability, mechanical strength, barrier properties, and heat sealing strength. It can be widely used in biodegradable materials and provides an important way to solve "white pollution".

Polypropylene Carbonate (PPC) Reaction DeviceThe second-generation CO ₂ copolymer PPC-P is based on the first generation CO ₂ copolymer PPC, and is polymerized by adding a third monomer phthalic anhydride (PA) to produce poly (propylene carbonate phthalate) PPC-P. Its glass transition temperature reaches 50 ℃. This material has good polymer mechanical properties (tensile strength>40 MPa), strong transparency (transparency ≥ 88%, belonging to glass plastic), ultra-high gas and water vapor barrier properties, and meets relevant biodegradation standards. And the material cost is low. In the third-generation CO ₂ copolymer PPC-X, the fourth generation CO ₂ copolymer, poly (propylene carbonate epoxycyclohexane phthalate) PPC-X, is polymerized by adding the fourth monomer epoxy cyclohexane (CHO) on the basis of PPC-P. Its glass transition temperature reaches 63 ℃, and higher glass transition temperature can be obtained by adjusting the monomer content. The fourth generation CO ₂ copolymer, with the addition of other monomers, is named PPC Plus and has a glass transition temperature of 95 ℃. Three new types of CO ₂ copolymers correspond to different application scenarios due to their glass transition temperatures.Polypropylene Carbonate (PPC) Reaction DeviceIn addition to CO ₂ - based biodegradable plastics, we have successively developed CO ₂ - based biodegradable elastomers, CO ₂ - based biodegradable fibers, CO ₂ - based biodegradable coatings, CO ₂ - based biodegradable adhesives, and CO ₂ - based biodegradable sealants.
