Detection Principle
Based on fluorescence spectroscopy and algal dynamic fluorescence characteristics, different algae have different fluorescent molecules in their bodies. Different fluorescent molecules absorb a certain intensity of sunlight and produce fluorescence in the same wavelength band. At the same time, the specific fluorescence intensity emitted by healthy algae of the same type is stronger than that of inhibited algae. Therefore, by analyzing the wavelength and strength of algae fluorescence, the concentration and activity information of different algae can be obtained, and the inhibitory effect of toxic substances on specific algae in water samples can be judged, thereby determining the comprehensive toxicity level of water quality.
