The PTFE silicone rubber double-layer peristaltic pump tube is an inner lined PTFE peristaltic pump tube developed by Shanghai Delian Instrument Co., Ltd. The PTFE layer of the inner lining has stable chemical properties, resistance to organic solvent corrosion, resistance to reagent swelling, resistance to strong acids and alkalis, as well as low extraction precipitation, low surface adsorption, smooth inner cavity and other properties. The outer layer of the pump tube is a silicone rubber layer, which maintains the elasticity and creep of the pump tube. The double-layer peristaltic pump tube lined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has both the flexibility of silicone rubber and the chemical stability of PTFE, solving many difficult transportation problems for special fluids

The outer layer of the pump tube is a silicone rubber layer, which maintains the elasticity and creep of the pump tube. The double-layer peristaltic pump tube lined with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has both the flexibility of silicone rubber and the chemical stability of PTFE, which can solve many transportation problems of special fluids.

Peristaltic pumps have a wide range of applications, commonly used for transporting liquids, gas-liquid mixed fluids, or liquids with mixed solid suspensions. When transporting some special fluids, difficulties may also be encountered, such as:

1Add pure butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate monomers dropwise using a peristaltic pump (for kinetic studies, the amount of dropwise addition must be accurately controlled), and use silicone or fluororubber pump tubes. Both pump tubes will cause the reagents to swell and become coarse, making it impossible to transport fluids.

2Transporting highly corrosive liquid tetrahydrofuran THF, silicone rubber pump tubing cannot be used due to swelling

3When transporting the extractant tributyl phosphate TBP, octanal organic solvents, extractant P204 mixed with fluorinated kerosene to form a 30% extractant, severely corrode the silicone rubber peristaltic pump tube

4When transporting and collecting gases, this type of pump, similar to a peristaltic pump, has an idle pump tube with high temperature. The PTFE lining has a smooth surface and low friction coefficient, resulting in less heat generated by friction and avoiding high pump tube temperature

It is a standard No. 15 pump tube with an inner diameter of 4.8mm, a wall thickness of 2.4mm, and an outer diameter of 9.6mm. The inner layer of the pump tube is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which has good chemical stability. The outer layer of the pump tube is made of silicone rubber to maintain its elasticity. The two ends of the pump tube are directly inserted into a thick walled PTFE tube with an outer diameter of 5mm. Due to the elastic silicone rubber on the outer layer of the peristaltic pump tube, it has good shrinkage and can be sealed without fasteners. The pure PTFE tube contacts the fluid, avoiding contact between the fluid and the silicone rubber. Using a full flow PTFE tube can solve many fluid transportation problems.
