Overview
The outer shell of the PGH tipping bucket rain gauge is made of anodized aluminum alloy and stainless steel, with heating function. The internal pouring cup is made of specialized plastic and has a very low coefficient of tension. A filled pouring rain cup will empty the rainwater under the action of gravity, and this action will produce an instantaneous switch closing signal. By collecting this signal, the rainfall amount and rainfall rate can be calculated. When the temperature is below 1 ℃, PGH will be heated by the built-in electric heater for constant temperature control to improve the accuracy of the rain gauge.
