Installation and use:
1. The diameter of the water meter should be selected according to the flow rate of the installation location, and hot water and corrosive liquids should not be used.
2. The installation location should avoid exposure to sunlight, freezing, pollution, and flooding, in order to facilitate disassembly and meter reading. During periods of freezing, in addition to wrapping the water meter and water pipe, when not in use, close the inlet valve of the water meter and open the outlet valve and faucet to prevent the water meter from expanding and being damaged due to freezing.
3. This water meter must be installed horizontally with the face up and the direction of the arrow aligned with the direction of the water flow.
4. When installing a new pipeline, it is necessary to wash away stones, mud, hemp fibers, and other debris inside the pipeline before installing the water meter to avoid water meter malfunction.
For accurate measurement, the faucet should be higher than the water meter.
If the water meter is installed at the inlet pipe of the boiler, it should be prevented from being scalded by hot water reflux.
7. The water meter should not be directly connected to the pipeline. The water meter should be connected to the pipeline through a connecting pipe, sealing gasket, and connecting nut. When disassembling the water meter, do not forcefully pull it to avoid twisting the case.
8. If the water meter is used for a long time, impurities such as rust in the pipeline may block the filter or enter the water meter, increasing the error of the water meter or affecting its normal operation. It is best to clean it every three years and recalibrate it, but do not disassemble it by yourself.
When not using water, any slight movement on the meter is caused by unstable water flow pressure in the pipeline or other reasons.

A type of speed water meter, which is the most commonly used type of water meter in the world. In national standards, a speed type water meter is defined as "a water meter installed in a closed pipeline, composed of a power element, and directly moved by the water flow rate". When the water flows through the water meter, it drives the impeller (rotor or spiral wing) to rotate, and the flow velocity of the water is proportional to the speed of the impeller. Since the cross-sectional area of the nozzle at the impeller driven by the water flow is constant, the speed of the impeller is also proportional to the flow rate. By connecting the linkage component on the impeller shaft to the counting mechanism, the counting mechanism accumulates the number of revolutions of the impeller (rotor or spiral wing), thereby recording the amount of water passing through the water meter.

1、 Multi beam water meter

Multi flow (bundle) water meter: When water flows through the water meter, multiple bundles (strands) of water flow from around the impeller box, driving the impeller to rotate. The nominal diameter of this water meter is generally 15mm to 150mm.

2、 Single stream water meter

Single flow (bundle) water meter: When water flows through the water meter, only one bundle (strand) of water drives the impeller to rotate. The nominal diameter of a single flow water meter is generally 15 (or 13) to 25mm, with a small volume and an error adjustment device placed externally.

3、 Dry water meter

Dry water meters are isolated from the water being measured due to their counting mechanism, which is not affected by suspended impurities in the water, ensuring the normal operation of the counting mechanism and clear readings. At the same time, unlike wet water meters, the phenomenon of fogging or condensation under the glass due to temperature differences inside and outside the meter will not affect the reading of the water meter.

The error adjustment device of the rotor multi flow dry water meter is generally an external adjustment type, and its external dimensions and internal structure are basically similar to wet water meters of the same specifications, and many components can also be used interchangeably.

4、 Vertical water meter

In places with limited installation space, vertical water meters can be installed. The internal structure of vertical water meters is the same as that of general rotary wing water meters, except that the inlet and outlet of vertical water meters are on the same side of the water meter and can be installed on the column of the water supply pipe. Vertical water meters have the advantages of convenient meter reading, no need for protective boxes, and saving installation costs.
