Measurement principle:
The KM water oil sensor uses ultraviolet fluorescence analysis, which is a very sensitive method that can determine the concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water and has a strong correlation with the oil content in water. The measured radiation intensity comes from the water sample, which can absorb light at shorter wavelengths and emit light (fluorescence) at longer wavelengths.
