2. Selection of pressure reducing valve
When selecting a pressure reducing valve, in addition to considering its nominal diameter, nominal pressure, and operating temperature, the outlet pressure range of the valve should also be taken into account. At the same time, the static characteristic deviation and insensitivity deviation of the selected pressure reducing valve should be considered. If high sensitivity is required, a spring film pressure reducing valve can be selected. If the medium temperature is high, a piston pressure reducing valve should be selected.
3. Arrangement of pressure reducing valves
(1) Pressure reducing valves should not be placed near rotating equipment or in places that are susceptible to impact, and should be considered for ease of maintenance.
(2) Pressure reducing valves should be installed on horizontal pipelines.
(3) To avoid impurities in the pipeline causing wear on the pressure reducing valve, a filter should be installed before the pressure reducing valve.
(4) The outlet pipeline of the pressure reducing valve should be equipped with reliable supports to avoid vibration damage to the pipeline during the pressure reduction process.
