Technical Principle

According to HJ637-2018 standard, under the condition of pH ≤ 2 in water samples, extract with tetrachloroethylene and determine the oil content; After removing polar substances such as animal and vegetable oils by adsorbing the extract with magnesium silicate, determine the petroleum content. The content of oil and petroleum is calculated based on the absorbance A2930, A2960, and A3030 at wavenumbers 2930cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH2 group), 2960cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH3 group), and 3030cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in aromatic ring), respectively, using correction coefficients; The content of animal and vegetable oils is the difference between the content of oil and petroleum.

Baseline stability: Real time automatic adjustment of zero point (eliminating the influence of baseline drift), the computer collects both the signal when the light source emits light and the signal when the light source goes off, achieving real-time automatic adjustment of zero point, simplifying operation and improving long-term signal stability;

Wave number accuracy and repeatability: ± 0.5cm-1. Using automatic positioning calibration, oil samples above 30mg/L are automatically calibrated at 2930cm-1, 2960cm-1, and 3030cm-1, eliminating the influence of human positioning;

Repeatability: RSD ≤ 0.6% for 11 measurements of 30-40mg/L oil standard samples. The instrument's optical and electrical systems are self-contained and highly integrated, thereby improving the reliability and repeatability of the instrument;

Accuracy error: ≤ 1%;

Correction coefficient accuracy: Take an appropriate amount of petroleum standard solution, prepare an appropriate concentration of petroleum standard solution using tetrachloroethylene as the solvent, and measure it using the same steps as the sample, with an error of ± 10%;

Scanning speed: Full spectrum scanning, 30 seconds/time; Non dispersive infrared method 2 seconds/time;
