AS-7010 is a brand new electronic platform and the foundation of Avantes' future spectrometer models.

It is equipped with a powerful Xilinx Zynq 7010 microprocessor. It combines the software programmability of the processor with the hardware programmability of FPGA, thereby achieving good system performance and flexibility. The spacious 1 million pixel memory enables onboard storage and custom programming of spectra. Due to its two different AD converters, it ensures excellent performance for each detector type. AS-7010 has two communication ports: high-speed USB 3.0 and GigaEthernet. In addition, there is an HD26 digital I/O connector with 13 programmable digital I/O ports, 2 analog output ports, and 2 analog input ports. This connector is compatible with AS-5216 I/O connector.
