It is because nylon is prone to oxidation and discoloration when in contact with air at high temperatures (nylon has reducibility). At the same time, it is easy to absorb water and expand, making the size unstable. After debugging, the size of nylon products is stabilized, and an appropriate amount of water can act like a plasticizer, improving flexibility, tensile strength, and other properties.

Generally, nylon materials are prone to water absorption and contain hydrophilic groups (acylamino groups). Nylon 6 (PA6) and nylon 66 (PA66) are crystalline thermoplastic materials; For crystalline polymers, rapid cooling during injection molding prevents the material from naturally crystallizing and shaping, resulting in strong internal stresses within the material. Nylon materials that have not undergone "tempering" treatment may experience further internal stress due to the tendency of large molecules to naturally orient and crystallize after shaping.

After being left to stand at a water temperature of 80-100 degrees Celsius for 3 hours, the product is naturally cooled to room temperature and removed. At this point, the gears have been moisture absorbed and balanced, and the flexibility of the gears has been improved. The rigidity indicators such as impact strength and tensile strength have been measured to varying degrees, reducing the internal stress of the gears and ensuring dimensional stability.
