In modern power systems, transformers play a crucial role in transforming voltage and achieving energy transmission and distribution. In order to ensure the reliability and safety of transformers, various tests and trials need to be conducted during their design and manufacturing process, among which an important test is the no partial discharge test.
Non partial discharge test is one of the methods for testing the insulation performance of transformers, aimed at evaluating the insulation strength and durability of equipment under rated working conditions. This experiment simulates the electrical stress that may occur under real operating conditions by applying high voltage and high frequency electric fields, in order to discover potential fault points and defects.
The transformer without partial discharge test has the following significant advantages:
1. Improving safety: By simulating electrical stress in real operating environments, potential fault points and defects can be detected early, thereby reducing the risk of accidents and losses.
2. Ensuring reliability: Non partial discharge testing can evaluate the insulation level of the entire transformer system, provide more accurate predictions for equipment reliability and lifespan, and help reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
3. Cost saving: Compared to traditional partial discharge testing, non partial discharge testing can be conducted more quickly, while reducing the use of testing equipment and consumables, thereby reducing testing costs.
4. Environmental sustainability: Non emission testing reduces the impact on the environment as it does not produce harmful gases or waste.
Technical parameters of transformer without partial discharge test:
1. Partial discharge capacity (insulated cylinder type)
A. 10-200KV rated voltage (UH), local discharge capacity ≤ 3-5Pc at 100% UH
B. 250-300KV rated voltage (UH), local discharge capacity ≤ 5Pc at 100% UH
C. 350-750KV rated voltage (UH), local discharge capacity ≤ 5Pc at 80% UH, ≤ 10Pc at 100% UH
D. 800KV~1500KV rated voltage (UH), local discharge capacity ≤ 10Pc at 80% UH
2. Cascade test transformer, uneven voltage distribution between two or three sections ≤ 5%
3. Allowable operating time: The test transformer can run for 30 minutes from ambient temperature at rated voltage and current, and can run continuously at two-thirds of the rated voltage and current
4. The impedance of a single test transformer is 3% to 12%, and the impedance of a series connection is 5% to 25%
5. Waveform distortion rate<3%
6. The remaining parameters comply with the provisions of JB/T9641-1999<<Test Transformer>>
