The signal quality is guaranteed by our high-power LED, variable tension spring bracket that provides optimal scalp coupling, and high-performance SiPD or next-generation APD detectors. The measures to address extracranial interference sources include the recommended 8mm short-range detector (supporting full head array/placement) and probe level 9-axis acceleration measurement in literature.

1) Aurora fNIRS acquisition software
NIRSport2 is equipped with Aurora fNIRS software: improving user friendliness, flexibility, and intuitive workflows.
Aurora fNIRS only requires a few clicks to set up the complete experimental setup. The automatic signal optimization algorithm ensures optimal signal quality before the measurement begins. After starting to record data, the concentration changes of HbO and Hb can be visualized in real-time in multiple display modes. In addition, there is an immediately available full head visualization feature.

4) NIRSport2 Expansion Module
Using NIRxWINGS for synchronous physiological measurements
The NIRxWINGS module for peripheral physiological measurements extends the functionality of NIRSport2. You can collect blood oxygen saturation (PPG), heart rate variability (HRV), oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiration, temperature, skin electrical response (GSR), and bipolar signals (such as EMG and ECG). All signals are synchronized and in one data stream.
NIRxBorealis: Converting fMRI to fNIRS
NIRxBorealis can couple up to two NIRSport2 devices with fiber optic guides for fNIRS data acquisition in MRI environments. The main advantage of this system is its flexibility, allowing for mobile and MRI integrated experiments to be conducted using the same NIRSport2 platform.
