Supports multiple work states:
Connected (Connected state)
After module registration and network access, it is in this state and can send and receive data. If there is no data interaction for a period of time, it will enter Idle mode, and the time can be configured
Idle state
Can send and receive data, and will enter Connected state when receiving downlink data. If there is no data interaction for more than a period of time, it will enter PSM mode, and the time can be configured. Idle state can be configured to execute DRX or eDRX mode
Discontinuous Reception (DRX)
discontinuous reception, Discontinuous receiving mode. High latency requirements for downstream services, such as streetlights.
Extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX)
Extended idle mode DRX, Extended discontinuous reception mode. There are high requirements for the latency of downstream services, and messages can be cached or immediately sent based on whether the device is in sleep mode, such as smart wearables.
PSM (Energy saving Mode)
In this mode, the terminal turns off the transceiver and does not listen to the wireless side's paging. Therefore, although it is still registered in the network, the signaling is unreachable and cannot receive downlink data, resulting in low power.
