The Altum PT multispectral thermal infrared imaging system is an advanced three in one solution for remote sensing and agricultural research. This solution seamlessly integrates an ultra-high resolution 12MP panchromatic imaging system, a 320 x 256 radiative thermal imaging system, and five single channel multispectral lenses, allowing for synchronized acquisition of RGB images, multispectral images, thermal infrared images, and high-resolution panchromatic data in a single flight. Compared to previous Altum sensors, the Altum PT multispectral camera provides higher resolution spectral and thermal imaging data, with stronger analytical capabilities and a wider range of applications.

Multispectral Thermal Infrared Imager Altum PTIt is an advanced three in one solution in remote sensing and agricultural research, which seamlessly integrates an ultra-high resolution 12MP panchromatic imager, a 320 x 256 radiometric thermal imager, and five single channel multispectral lenses. It can synchronously acquire RGB images, multispectral images, thermal infrared images, and high-resolution panchromatic data in a single flight. Compared to previous Altum sensors, the Altum PT multispectral camera provides higher resolution spectral and thermal imaging data, with stronger analytical capabilities and wider applications. It can more accurately study the effects of abiotic and biotic stresses on crop traits in different environments.

Multispectral Thermal Infrared Imager Altum PTMain features:

Adopting the new CFexpress professional removable storage standard, it can achieve faster flight speeds at a rate of more than two times per second. The ultra fast upload speed of the storage card enables more efficient data management.

Equipped with an ultra-high resolution panchromatic sensor, it can "pan sharpen" and calibrate multispectral images, improving high spatial resolution multispectral data: at a flight altitude of 60 meters, the ground resolution is 1.2 centimeters.

Built in 320 × 256 FLIR Boson ® The imaging device has a ground resolution twice that of Altum for thermal imaging: at a flight altitude of 60 meters, the ground resolution is 17cm.

Synchronized acquisition of thermal imaging and multispectral imaging data: Altum PT can synchronously acquire multispectral, thermal infrared, and panchromatic data, and output them in ultra-high resolution form through pixel aligned technology, without the need for data alignment in post-processing.

Irrigation cycle planning: Irrigation time, frequency, and duration directly affect crop health and are key factors in agricultural production. Altum PT thermal imaging data provides * data support for irrigation management, helping irrigation managers determine the correct watering method and identify leaks or blockages in the irrigation system through differences in crop canopy and soil temperature.
Disease, pest and nutrient deficiency detection: With the high-resolution multispectral images of Altum PT, users can better identify issues affecting plant canopy physiology. By combining different spectral vegetation indices and Pan sharpering data, diseases, pests, or nutritional issues can be detected in advance before they are visible to the naked eye.
Plant phenotype: Manual measurement of plant characteristics is very time-consuming, and Altum PT can capture more data in a shorter amount of time, helping researchers to more easily understand plant characteristics and their responses to different growth conditions.
Fruit yield estimation: Altum PT provides a combination of high-resolution RGB, multispectral, and thermal imaging to achieve more accurate yield estimation through algorithm based fruit counting and temperature analysis.
Water stress prediction: Canopy temperature is an important indicator of plant stress, and Altum PT's thermal imager can help farmers regularly assess plant physiological status and detect subtle changes in canopy temperature as a reference for water stress indicators.
