Mini Tangential Flow Ultrafiltration System - Membrane Package and Fixture: Tangential flow filtration technology is currently a widely used membrane separation technology for sample concentration, dialysis, separation, and filtration. The typical range of molecular weight cut-off is 1-1000 kd. Ultrafiltration is a method for separating extremely small particles and soluble molecules in a solution. This separation is mainly based on the size of particles or molecules, but the permeability of membrane materials is also affected by the chemical, molecular, and charge characteristics of the sample. Ultrafiltration is usually used to separate molecules with a size difference of 3-5 times or more, and is not suitable for separating molecules with similar sizes.
