All droplet generators come in microscope slide format and can operate in both pumping and suction modes. When setting up droplet generation experiments, please pay attention to material compatibility: when using silicon-based oil, it is recommended to use Topas chips, while mineral oil requires chips made of PC.

lSingle channel droplet generation chip

There is a dual channel intersection between the droplet generation area and a droplet collection channel.The Fluidic 162 and Fluidic 163 have similar designs and multiple entrances and exits with Mini Luer interfaces, with the main difference being the channel width. Like most droplet generators with double crossing geometries, they can also be used for single crossing experiments, simply by not connecting their respective channels and closing their interfaces with plugs.

① Single Cross Geometry:This type of droplet generator chip provides multiple functional droplet generator units with the same geometric shape on one chip. Featuring a single cross geometric shape andThe droplet generator chip Fluidic 537 with Luer interface is specifically developed for pumping and suction modes. The chip contains four identical droplet generation units with a nozzle size of 38 μ m. In contrast, the Fluidic 912 has a Mini Luer interface and eight identical droplet generation units, with a channel size of 80 μ m in the droplet formation area.

② Double Intersection Geometry:The droplet generator chip with a double cross geometry allows the generation of a double lotion, for example, another droplet shell at the intersection of the second channel contains droplets or cells from the intersection of the first channel. We offer two different designs,Fluidic 536 and Fluidic 1032 have different channel/nozzle sizes. For this purpose, we provide two droplet generator chips with similar designs to evaluate droplet size. Each chip has eight independent droplet generator units andMini Luer interface. The Fluidic 440 is designed to generate larger droplets, with channel sizes of 80 μ m, 70 μ m, 60 μ m, and 50 μ m in the droplet formation area. In contrast, the droplets generated by Fluidic 947 are smaller, with channel sizes of 30 μ m, 20 μ m, 15 μ m, and 10 μ m in the droplet formation area. Each size version has two different exit channel widths.
