Overview
The rolling contact fatigue testing machine (micro pitting) is mainly used to study the micro pitting characteristics of rolling contact materials. The testing machine includes a main specimen axis and three auxiliary specimen axes, with three contact points on one main specimen. The testing machine applies a constant load to the specimen in rolling or rolling sliding contact, causing the contact surface to be subjected to cyclic line and point frictional contact pressure. By controlling and changing parameters such as load, speed, slip rate, time, friction partner material, surface roughness, hardness, etc., tests are conducted to evaluate the pitting contact fatigue life of materials.

1、 Main purpose
The rolling contact fatigue testing machine (micro pitting) is mainly used to study the micro pitting characteristics of rolling contact materials. The testing machine includes a main specimen axis and three auxiliary specimen axes, with three contact points on one main specimen. The testing machine applies a constant load to the specimen in rolling or rolling sliding contact, causing the contact surface to be subjected to cyclic line and point frictional contact pressure. By controlling and changing parameters such as load, speed, slip rate, time, friction partner material, surface roughness, hardness, etc., tests are conducted to evaluate the pitting contact fatigue life of materials.
This testing machine is suitable for the contact situation of moving parts of gears and rolling bearings, and can also be used as a simulation test method to evaluate the anti pitting or micro pitting performance of industrial gear oil or lubricating oil. The high frequency of contact conditions between the three surfaces of the testing machine can greatly shorten the testing time and improve testing efficiency.
