Overview
The methanol moisture analyzer complies with GB/T7600 and the relevant standards for determining moisture in samples using the Karl Fischer method. The card method is divided into two major methods: card volumetric method and card coulombic method, both of which are established as standard analytical methods by many countries to calibrate other analytical methods and measuring instruments. Instruments are widely used in industries and departments such as petrochemicals, power oils, chemical reagents, research institutions, lithium batteries, etc. This instrument is applicable to relevant national standards that use the Karl Fischer method.

In 1935, Karl Fischer first proposed the method of using volumetric analysis to determine moisture content, which is the visual method in GB6283 "Determination of Moisture Content in Chemical Products". After continuous improvement and refinement, it later developed into the electric quantity method, and then combined the Coulomb meter with the capacity method to derive the Coulomb method. This method is the measurement method in GB7600 "Determination of Moisture Content in Operating Transformer Oil (Coulombic Method)". The card type method is divided into two major methods: the card type capacity method and the card type Coulomb method, both of which are established as standard analytical methods by many countries to calibrate other analytical methods and measuring instruments. Instruments are widely used in industries and departments such as petrochemicals, power oils, chemical reagents, research institutions, lithium batteries, etc. This instrument is applicable to relevant national standards that use the Karl Fischer method.

Operation steps:
1. Preparation work
Read the instruction manual: Carefully read the user manual of the furfural analyzer to understand the basic operation, functions, and precautions of the equipment.
Check the equipment: Ensure that the power supply of the instrument is normal and the connection lines are not loose or damaged. Check if the sensors, sample cups, and other accessories of the instrument are clean and intact.
Calibration instrument: To calibrate the instrument using a standard solution, it is usually necessary to prepare a known concentration of furfural standard solution and follow the steps in the instructions for calibration.
2. Sample preparation
Sampling: Take an appropriate amount of the sample to be tested as needed. The sample should be processed appropriately, such as filtration or dilution, for ease of measurement.
Sample processing: If the sample may contain interfering substances, pre-treatment such as acidification, extraction, etc. may be necessary. The specific methods should refer to the testing instrument manual or relevant standards.
3. Operation steps
Install sample: Pour the processed sample into the sample cup of the measuring instrument. Ensure that the sample cup is clean and free of bubbles.
Set parameters: Based on the sample type and measurement requirements, set the relevant parameters of the instrument, such as wavelength, measurement mode, etc.
Start measurement: Start the instrument and measure according to the operating instructions. Ensure the selection of the correct measurement mode.
Record data: After the measurement is completed, record the measurement results and perform necessary data processing, such as drawing standard curves.
4. Result processing
Analysis result: Analyze the concentration of furfural in the sample based on the data provided by the instrument and preset standards.
Data storage: Save measurement results, record relevant experimental information for subsequent data analysis and report writing.
5. Follow up processing
Cleaning the instrument: After each measurement, clean the sample cup and other parts that have come into contact with the sample to prevent cross contamination.
Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain instruments, update calibration, and ensure long-term stability and accuracy.
