The high-quality aluminum module of the Eppendorf Mastercycler X40 PCR instrument is suitable for all common consumables, including no skirt, half skirt, and full skirt PCR plates, as well as 0.1 mL or 0.2 mL PCR tubes and PCR eight tube tubes. The SafeLid thermal cover can adapt to the height of different consumables and apply better pressure to prevent evaporation.

The Mastercycler X40 PCR analyzer has a small footprint and a ventilation port on the back, which can be placed in a small space on a laboratory workbench. The device size is only 24.5 x 38.5 x 23 centimeters (width x depth x height). In addition, its weight is only 7.25 kilograms.
