Overview

Brief description: The Scar Resistance Tester, a 435 Mar hardness tester, traditionally tests the resistance of damaged surfaces by attempting to mark them with nails. By using the 435 hardness tester, the surface quality can be accurately measured.

Product Details

The surface marks are very unsightly,Especially on a smooth and glossy surface, the surface can be easily damaged, such as the marks of nails on matte paint on a table or the marks of a staff on shiny objects. Those small reasons can cause great trouble.

Scratches can also be caused by metal objects, such as metal particles on coins, jewelry or rings on hands, any of which may damage the surface paint film.

The traditional test for surface resistance to damage is to attempt to mark the surface with nails by using435The hardness tester can accurately measure the surface quality.

Design and operation mode:

The scratch tool is circular, equipped with a locking device, and made of special plastic or metal. Installed on screws, pressure is obtained from a spiral spring, which provides an adjustable020NThe pressure between ranges. Place the instrument on the testing surface. In this way, it can lean against two guide wheels, lock the marking wheel in one position, and press the surface with a preset spring pressure. The range of spring strength can be divided into3Part, each part contains1A replaceable spring.

Operation method:

The configuration includes: the host contains 3 springs, 3 types of test pieces (one each made of copper, steel, and plastic), a box, and an original factory certificate;

Firstly, select the testing wheel according to the testing requirements, such as plastic wheels for scratch resistance testing, copper wheels or other special wheels for metal scratches. After locking the screw, the marking wheel cannot rotate, and then a spring is set to provide the appropriate pressure required. Then place the instrument on the testing surface and press down to make the guide wheel in contact with the surface.

The instrument moves a certain distance (about a few centimeters) to make the wheel roll on the surface, causing a scratch during rapid movement. The test result is the spring force, measured in newtons. This force must produce a visible trace to the naked eye, but not a crack or scratch.

If the purpose is the so-called metal marking effect, the result is expressed as the spring force of a black or gray imprint on the surface.

matters needing attention:

The marking wheel will wear out after use100After the second test, their positions must be changed. Move forward along the circumference of the circle2mmA scratch mark should be added to the previously used marking wheel.
