This machine belongs to the pre grinding and polishing process, which involves embedding small, difficult to handle, or irregular metallographic and lithological samples. After embedding, it is easy to perform grinding and polishing operations on the samples, as well as to correctly observe the ideal material structure under a metallographic microscope and test the hardness of the materials on a hardness tester.

This machine is a mechanical inlaying machine, which rotates the external handwheel of the machine body and drives the internal screw of the machine body through a pair of bevel gears to move the lower mold of the pressed sample up and down inside the rigid mold sleeve. The thermal plastic and the embedded sample are formed under heating conditions. The forming pressure during the sample preparation process is automatically compensated by springs fixed in the collective, and the pressure of the sample compression can be indicated by signal lights.

This embedding machine is equipped with a digital temperature controller, which enables real-time temperature display and autonomous temperature setting. It is also equipped with a timer, which enables semi-automatic sample preparation and greatly improves work efficiency. Each embedding and sample preparation time is 8-10 minutes, and an ideal sample as smooth as a mirror can be obtained.
