Maintenance and upkeep of imported GCE gas manifold pressure reducer
Centralized gas supply through busbars is a commonly used gas supply method in industry and hospitals. As busbars are directly connected to high-pressure gas cylinders, operators must master the following knowledge of safe use and maintenance of busbars:
1. To open the cylinder valve, slowly open the shut-off valve in front of the pressure reducer. The input pressure of the gas cylinder should be indicated by the high-pressure gauge, and then turn the pressure reducer adjusting screw clockwise. At this time, the low-pressure gauge indicates the output pressure. When supplying gas to the pressure reducer, prevent sudden opening of the shut-off valve to avoid hitting the pressure reducer and causing it to malfunction.
When stopping the gas supply, simply loosen the pressure regulator screw to make the output pressure of the low-pressure gauge zero, and then close the shut-off valve.
Both the high-pressure and low-pressure chambers of the pressure reducer are equipped with safety valves. When the pressure exceeds the allowable value, the exhaust will automatically open, and when the pressure drops to the allowable value, it will automatically close. Do not turn the safety valve normally.
4. During installation, attention should be paid to cleanliness and no debris should enter the pressure reducer.
When air leakage is found in the connecting part, it is usually caused by insufficient tightness on the thread or damage to the sealing gasket. The nut should be tightened appropriately or the sealing gasket should be replaced.
If the pressure regulator is found to be damaged or leaking, or if the pressure on the low-pressure gauge keeps rising, or if the pressure on the gauge cannot return to zero, it should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
7. The busbar should use one medium according to regulations and should not be mixed to avoid danger.
8. The busbar should be in strict contact with grease to prevent explosions.
9. The busbar shall not inflate the gas cylinder in the opposite direction.
10. After the busbar is put into use, daily maintenance should be carried out, and the fittings should be struck rigorously. During normal use, the pressure gauge must be measured and tested annually.
11. Do not install busbars in places with corrosive media.
12. For busbars that have been in use for three years, experienced units should be invited to conduct a comprehensive inspection and replace key components to ensure safe use.
13. The fully automatic oxygen busbar control cabinet must be reliably grounded to prevent static electricity and fire!
Special note: Bottle replacement instructions
When changing bottles, first close the main valve on the busbar, then close the branch valve on the busbar, then close the cylinder valve on the gas cylinder, remove the gas cylinder, replace all new cylinders, then open the branch valve on the busbar, and then open the main valve,
Then slowly open one steel cylinder valve, and when the high-pressure gauge on the pressure reducer no longer rises, slowly open all the steel cylinder valves to supply gas normally.
