Backwash filter is a precision equipment that uses a filter screen to directly intercept impurities in water, remove suspended solids and particulate matter, reduce turbidity, purify water quality, and reduce the production of system dirt, bacteria, algae, rust, etc., in order to purify water quality and protect other equipment in the system from normal operation. The intelligent fully automatic backwash filter adopts intelligent (PLC, PAC) design. Water enters the self-cleaning filter body through the inlet, and the system can automatically identify the degree of impurity deposition and send a signal to the discharge valve for automatic discharge. The fully automatic backwash filter overcomes many disadvantages of traditional filtration products, such as small pollutant holding capacity, susceptibility to blockage by pollutants, need to disassemble and clean the filtering part, and inability to monitor the filter status. It has the function of filtering raw water and automatically cleaning and discharging the filter element. During cleaning and discharging, the system provides uninterrupted water supply, which can monitor the working status of the filter and has a high degree of automation.

Scope of application
The automatic backwash filter is mainly composed of high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel simplified bodies, wedge-shaped filter screens, water flow guide valves, differential pressure controllers, electric control boxes, and sewage discharge devices. It can be used for filtering industrial wastewater, seawater, food and pharmaceutical wastewater, circulating water, as well as for emulsion regeneration, waste oil, liquid raw materials and other filtration treatments. In the metallurgical industry, petrochemical industry, power plant water supply and drainage and circulating water systems, as well as processes involving liquid medium filtration, the application of automatic backwash filters is becoming increasingly widespread. Modern metallurgical enterprises in China have introduced continuous casting water systems, blast furnace water systems, high-pressure water descaling systems for hot rolling, emulsion systems, and closed water circulation systems, all of which use automatic backwash filters extensively in liquid medium filtration systems.
The backwash filter can be installed vertically, horizontally, upside down in any direction and position, and can be used for water filtration in various industries such as industry, agriculture, municipal power, electronics, medicine, food, printing and dyeing, construction, steel, metallurgy, papermaking, etc.
working principle
When the filter is working, the water flow guide valve is in the open state, and the water enters the filter through the inlet, passes through the filter screen, and flows into the outlet. And pollutants are collected at the discharge outlet or on the inner wall of the filter screen under the action of inertia and water flow impact force. This machine adopts differential pressure control and positioning control to automatically clean the filter screen. When the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the filter reaches the set value or the timer reaches the preset time, the electric control box sends a signal, and the drain valve opens (the water flow guide valve is in the open state). The impurities adhered to the inner wall of the filter screen by the water flow flushing are further flushed and discharged. When the water flow guide valve is fully closed, the water flow enters the outer side of the filter screen from the inlet section mesh, and most of the clean liquid flows out from the outlet. A part of the clean liquid enters the inside of the filter screen from the outside (because the system is in a pressure relief state, the pressure inside the filter screen is lower than the outer pressure), thus backwashing the filter screen. The Johnson net of the special equipment produces a spraying effect inside the filter screen, and any magazine is washed away from the smooth inner wall. When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter returns to normal or the timer set time ends, the electric drain valve closes and the water flow guide valve opens. Throughout the entire process, the materials did not stop flowing, achieving continuous and automated production.
