The MGTS-6B mining explosion-proof optical cable has complete coal safety certification. The structure of the mining flame-retardant optical cable is to insert single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers into a loose sleeve made of high modulus plastic, and fill the sleeve with a water-resistant compound. The center of the cable core is a phosphated steel wire or a steel wire rope extruded with polyethylene. A loose sleeve (or filling rope and signal wire) is twisted around the center to strengthen the core and form a compact and circular cable core. The gaps inside the cable core are filled with water-resistant filling material, steel polyethylene bonding inner sheath, and then blue flame-retardant PVC sheath is used to form the cable.

Mining fiber optic cable structure:

Divided into: a-center bundle tube type (2-12 cores, due to process issues, this process can only produce up to 12 cores)
B-layer twisted type (2-144 cores, generally less than 12 cores tend to use central bundle tube type)
