If the conventional method is used to add materials from the main feeding port, on the one hand, due to the different bulk densities of various materials, especially when adding powder, it is easy to layer, which will cause uneven composition of the finished product. On the other hand, due to the high hardness of the added materials, which are mostly solid and will not plasticize, adding them from the solid conveying section of the barrel will cause wear on the feeding section screw and barrel. However, if the lateral feeding method is adopted, filling material is added from the material melting section. As soon as the filling material enters the host, it is wrapped and mixed by the melted material, avoiding the wear of the screw and barrel, reducing energy waste caused by friction, effectively improving production output and efficiency, and reducing production costs.
