Manual hydraulic tablet press is a specialized tablet press for western medicine powder, traditional Chinese medicine powder, chemical preparations, etc., which is simple and convenient. 1、 Purpose: The manual hydraulic tablet making machine is a sample making equipment that is easy to operate, maintain, and safe to use. It is suitable for experimental sample making in laboratories of industries such as ceramics, building materials, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. There are options such as 10 tons, 20 tons, and 30 tons.

2、 Instructions for use:

1. Equipped with various molds and accessories, it has the function of multi-purpose and is safe and reliable.

2. A pressure gauge with corresponding pressure can be installed at the oil cylinder (hydraulic jack); The pressing mold is assembled as shown in Figure 1 and the sample powder is added. It is then placed in a fixed position on the tablet press frame for pressing.

When the compression pressure pointer of the pressure gauge points to the corresponding pressure, the "relief screw" can be loosened to automatically relieve pressure and fall back. After unloading, tighten the "unloading screw", pick up the mold of the compressed powder, then remove and reverse the lower mold as shown in (Figure 2), and place the mold back in the fixed position of the frame for secondary pressing (i.e. demolding pressing)

When the compression pressure pointer of the pressure gauge points to 5-10Mpa, the "relief screw" can be loosened, the mold can be removed, and the sample can be taken out from the lower mold.

Characteristics of mold steel molds

Disadvantages: Low strength, low pressure resistance, and easy deformation when used under overpressure.

Note: The tolerance for conventional molds below 15mm is generally around 12-15 threads. The tolerance of conventional molds above 30mm is generally around 30-35 threads. If the buyer requests a mold precision of less than 10 threads, they can communicate with the shop owner. We can achieve the smallest error within 6-7 threads. The larger the mold tolerance, the easier it is to demold and there may be slight powder leakage. On the contrary, the smaller the tolerance, the easier it is to get stuck in the mold. Not prone to powder leakage. Buyers can customize suitable molds according to their actual situation. Remember not to strike the mold with metal objects!

1 millimeter equals 100 threads.

Advice: It is normal for the mold to get stuck and difficult to remove, which is related to the precision, operation method, powder properties, and overpressure use of the mold. Once the mold gets stuck, do not use metal objects to strike it, otherwise it will cause burrs on the mold, causing deformation, jamming, and difficulty in demolding. The best method is to use a wooden hammer, copper rod, or iron hammer wrapped in a thick cloth to strike and slowly release it. If the mold is stuck due to powder adhesion, it can be removed by melting the powder in water or alcohol.

1、 Mold precision: the higher the mold precision, the easier it is to clamp the mold.

2、 Operation method: Before pressing the tablet, the punch of the mold must be balanced and cannot be pressed off center, otherwise it is easy to get stuck in the mold and even deform the mold.

3、 Powder properties: Some powders have strong adsorption and adhesion properties, and are also prone to mold jamming.

4、 Overpressure use: Any material mold has a certain yield pressure, and the smaller the mold, the less pressure it can withstand. Once overpressure is used, the mold will deform, crack, and become stuck, making it difficult to remove.
