Regarding the terminology, definitions, and types of breakdown voltage testing:
1. Voltage endurance value: When the voltage is raised to the specified value and maintained for a certain period of time without breakdown of the sample, this voltage value is called the voltage endurance value of the sample;
2. Breakdown voltage: The voltage value at which a sample is broken down under a certain voltage is called the breakdown voltage;
3. Breakdown voltage intensity: The ratio of the breakdown voltage of a sample to its thickness, known as voltage intensity, expressed in KV/mm.

2、 Applicable materials:
Mainly applicable to solid insulation materials such as wire sleeves, resins and adhesives, impregnated fiber products, mica and its products, plastic films, ceramics, glass, insulation paint, vulcanized rubber, cable paper, insulation paint film, hard rubber, cardboard and other insulation media in air or liquid media, measuring the breakdown strength and withstand voltage time at power frequency (48-62Hz) or corresponding DC voltage. Suitable for continuous and uniform voltage boosting or step-by-step voltage boosting, apply AC/DC voltage to the sample until breakdown, measure the breakdown voltage value, and calculate the breakdown strength of the sample; Using a rapid voltage boost method, raise the voltage to the specified value and maintain it for a certain period of time until the sample does not break down. Set the specified value at this time as the withstand voltage value of the sample.
3、 Basic functions:

At the same time, the boost rate is infinitely adjustable, and can be adjusted according to one's own needs, making the boost rate truly uniform and accurate, and can accurately measure the leakage current data. Real time drawing of experimental curves, display of experimental data, accurate judgment, and the ability to save, analyze, and print experimental data. And it can automatically identify the breakdown of the sample and collect breakdown voltage data and leakage current. At the same time, it can quickly reduce the voltage and automatically reset to zero at the moment of breakdown. The software system is easy to operate, has stable performance, and is safe and reliable.
4、 Structural features:
The vertical box structure is adopted, which greatly saves space in the laboratory. The foot adopts a pulley structure, which is convenient for movement and placement, avoiding the disadvantages of horizontal equipment produced by similar manufacturers that require additional installation platforms for placement, such as large space occupation and inconvenient movement. This product uses a DC servo motor to load the deceleration mechanism, ensuring the new requirements for slow and fast tests in the new standard, and allowing users to freely choose the boost rate.
