LDY32-300 High Temperature and High Pressure Flow Tester
1、 Function of the device
The following research can be conducted using this device:
1. Acidizing water plugging and profile control test;
2. Research on improving recovery rate through chemical flooding;
3. Reservoir sensitivity evaluation;
4. Determination of liquid permeability;
2、 Main technical indicators
1. Work pressure: 32MPa;
2. Working temperature: 300 ℃± 1 ℃;
3. Displacement flow rate: 0.01-10mL/min.
3、 The various components that make up the device
1. Power source system:
Non pulsating plunger pump, Beijing Satellite, output pressure 20MPa, flow rate 0.01-10mL/min.
N2 can also be used as a power source.
2. Liquid storage system
Used for storing test media and can also serve as a pressure buffer.
Composed of intermediate containers of the following specifications:
Piston container ZR-3 type, 1000mL, 32MPa 2 pieces
3. Core clamp
TY-4 type ring pressure not exceeding 30MPa
Core size adjustable from 25 × 25 to 50
4. Environmental pressure control system
Apply ring pressure to the gripper using JB-3 manual pump, and the ring pressure value is displayed on the pressure gauge. The pressure gauge has a range of 60MPa and an accuracy of 0.4 level.
5. Backpressure control system
The system is used to control the outlet pressure of rock cores and consists of a top loading back pressure valve, a buffer container, a pressure gauge, and a JB-3 manual pump. The pressure gauge has a range of 60MPa and an accuracy of 0.4 level.
6. Temperature control system
The temperature control system mainly consists of temperature controller instruments, temperature control probes, and electrical equipment insulation systems.

Install three pressure sensors with different ranges at the inlet of the core holder to measure the inlet pressure of the core, in order to meet the accuracy requirements for different pressure measurements. Install a pressure sensor at the outlet to measure the outlet pressure of the rock core when applying back pressure during testing.
Imported pressure sensor range: 1MPa, 30MPa, accuracy level 0.4

9. Process piping system
The instrument is designed with a forward and reverse displacement process, which can be carried out without taking out the core. To prevent blockages in pipelines caused by plugging agents, fracturing fluids, etc., the main process uses a diameter of 6 × 1mm stainless steel pipeline (ring pressure, back pressure, etc. use a diameter of 3mm pipeline)
10. Control panel
Installed with pressure gauges, electrical control switches, temperature controllers, and other components.
4、 Security
1. The instrument must have a reliable grounding to prevent electric shock and injury;
2. Intermediate containers, clamps, pipelines, pressure gauges, etc. have a certain working pressure, and must not exceed the working pressure during use. Especially when using gas as a driving force, be careful to avoid injury caused by high-pressure gas explosion.
When operating the instrument at high temperatures, the operator must wear insulated gloves to avoid burns.
5、 Operation
1. Fill the storage container with liquid
There are two ways to fill liquids:
One is to remove the container, pour the test medium into the container, and then reinstall the container.
The second is to retract the container piston to the top of the container, close the valve at the top of the container, evacuate the container, and use a hose to suck the test medium into the container from the bottom vent valve.
2. Core clamping
a. After the saturated water core is loaded into the gripper, the vent valves on both ends of the core must be opened, and the air in the pipeline and the end face of the core must be driven away with the test medium. The test can only be carried out after the air is completely drained to prevent air from being driven into the core.
b. Unsaturated water cores can also be directly loaded into clamps, and after applying ring pressure, the cores and pipelines can be evacuated, and then saturated with water.
3. Temperature control
Turn on the main power and heating switch, and the constant temperature box begins to heat up. The heating temperature is set and controlled by the temperature controller. Please refer to the instructions for using the temperature controller for details.
4. Application of Ring Pressure
The ring pressure is applied directly to the clamp using a manual pump, and the ring pressure value is read directly from the pressure gauge.
5. Backpressure control
It is best to use a gas source for back pressure, adjust the control pressure, and apply it to the top of the back pressure valve. The control pressure should be equal to the required pressure at the core outlet. When the pressure of the gas source is insufficient, a manual pump can be used to pressurize water into the buffer container, use water to top the air, increase the control pressure, and the back pressure control pressure can be directly read out by the pressure gauge.
6. Displacement pressure
The displacement pressure is applied using a non pulsating flow plunger pump. For specific operation, please refer to the manual of the non pulsating flow plunger pump.
7. Experimental process operation
According to the purpose of the experiment, different experimental procedures can be selected, and specific experimental methods can refer to industry standards for each experiment.
During the experiment, it is essential to be careful and meticulous, and to establish detailed operational procedures in advance. Once the flow direction of the medium is determined, any misoperation of the valve may lead to the failure of the test or the occurrence of accidents.
6、 Protection
1. Valve
The valves installed in the instrument are made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel, and the valve needles are treated with nitriding technology, which has a certain hardness. However, when using, it is also important to note that excessive force should not be applied when closing the valve to avoid damaging the valve needle.
2. Cleaning
After the instrument is used up, it should be cleaned in a timely manner to prevent the pipeline from being blocked by media with particles or high viscosity, and corrosive media from corroding the pipeline.
3. Seals
Attention should be paid to replacing high-pressure sealing components, especially after high temperature is applied. Seals are prone to deformation and need to be replaced frequently to ensure that there is no leakage during the testing process
