Particle size distribution can still be determined at extremely low sample concentrations. Usually, the optimal concentration for measuring particle size distribution using laser diffraction method is approximately 100ppm. However, LAST-1 has high sensitivity, up to 100 times that of the SALD series, and can be measured even at sample concentrations as low as 0.1 to 1ppm. With this instrument, it is easy to measure the particle size distribution of objects that were previously impossible to measure. Therefore, this new method is expected to be applied in a wider range of fields. |

Particle size and turbidity can be measured simultaneously.
For example, Cryptosporidium in water can be detected for both turbidity and particle size simultaneously.
Sensitivity of plane measurement across the entire measurement range(0.5~50mm).
By using laser diffraction method as the measurement principle, stable sensitivity can be achieved across the entire measurement range.
Can be used for real-time monitoring and batch measurement.
In addition to being used for static water measurement
It is unnecessary to monitor and maintain a constant water flow rate.
Although it is necessary to maintain a constant water flow rate during particle counting or turbidity measurement operations using LATS-1, it is not necessary to measure the water flow rate.
Particle size distribution measurement does not require calibration (particle size and conventional particle size).
Due to the use of laser diffraction method, there is no need for calibration (particle size and relative particle number) when measuring particle size distribution, which can be accurately determined. But if it is necessary to determine the turbidity or absolute number of particles in the specific volume, relevant standards must be used for calibration.
The particle size distribution can be measured in one second.
The measurement interval can be freely set. Turbidity and particle size can be measured in one second at the fastest. Therefore, changes in the sample can be measured in a very short amount of time.
Equipped with powerful data processing capabilities.
The software has powerful data processing capabilities, including 3D graphs, granularity distribution results, real-time monitoring, and stacked plots, among others.
