When it comes to the actual contact with crop teeth, Kuhn has designed them without any changes: the teeth are made of high-quality materials, the longer teeth fingers are wrapped in four circles, meeting strict quality control standards, and the hanging system on the teeth arm can achieve a super long design life of at least 180000 cycles. This can provide hundreds of hours of work before replacement is needed.

The asymmetry of the toothed fingers means that both fingers can evenly contact the crop, achieving a more uniform picking operation. The toothed guard can prevent debris from accumulating around the steel ring.

Teeth can come into contact with grass earlier

When the length of the teeth is asymmetric, the machine is equipped with a longer outer finger bar, which has multiple advantages and can achieve the best grass spreading quality. Compared to symmetrical teeth, the outer finger can come into contact with the grass earlier. This can ensure a more complete grass spreading operation, not only at the edge of the field, but also between the discs (C) and (E) (where the teeth overlap more in the sensitive area). Processing grass earlier also means increasing the actual working width of each disc, thus expanding the working range of the entire machine.

The machine is equipped with a tilt control system, which can perform uninterrupted grass spreading operations on fences or adjacent farmland boundaries. The 1002 series suspended grass spreader is easy to use, and the operator only needs to pull the rope to achieve instant adjustment. The grass spreader can immediately operate in tilt mode. This feature is optional for suspended grass pavers and comes standard on semi suspended grass pavers up to 10.80 meters (35'5 ") in size. The tilt setting is controlled by hydraulic pressure, providing practical comfort. The double acting cylinder with a pilot valve ensures safe operation without the risk of premature misalignment.

When working on a slope, the tilt setting is specifically designed to control the direction of the work flow and achieve optimal soil coverage.

Quickly adjust the angle of the spring teeth

Regardless of the length, dryness, or cutting height of the grass: at the wheel support, the pitch angle can be set without the need for tools. Don't forget: the aforementioned pitch angle can reduce the drying time of grass and increase its nutritional value.

Wheel of ultra-low pressure tire

The disc sits on the wheels of the ultra-low pressure tire. Proportionally proportioned tires rotate close to the teeth, providing excellent height control and floating, while the teeth minimize contact with soil to obtain cleaner, high-quality grass.
