Customize grass strips based on crop quantity and picking width
The working widths of GA13131 and GA15131 vertical axis rotary rake are 8.40 meters to 12.50 meters and 9.50 meters to 14.70 meters, respectively. High on-site output is just one of their advantages. These large widths ensure that the machine is suitable for future harvesters. This is why you can continuously and completely adjust the working and grass width on the tractor seat through hydraulic means.

The working width is a matter related to the amount of grass: by setting the position of the front rotor, the working width can be adapted to different crop yields. In the cab, this goal can be achieved with the help of hydraulic cylinders and angle sensors.
Adjust the width of the grass strip according to the picker: The width of the grass strip can also be adjusted inside the cab. During work, the width of the grass strip can be set by repositioning the rotor. The width range is 1.40 to 2.40 meters to choose from (on GA15131, the maximum width is 2.50 meters).
Each rotor can be raised separately: Although the working width of the four rotor vertical axis rotary rake is large, their flexibility is sufficient for them to work on triangular grass. This is because the machine can lift each rotor individually at any time to wrap around grass corners or avoid obstacles. At the same time, it has a large ground clearance and can easily pass through the grass strips formed between them.

Perform all adjustments directly inside the cab
During work, hydraulic adjustments can be made to all rotor settings through the terminal, including work and blade width, rotor lift, blade height, machine folding, etc; The joystick can be used to further facilitate operation. Both rakers are equipped with ISOBUS software. Kuhn offers two ISOBUS solutions (CCI 200), both of which feature color displays and touch screens, but can also be operated using existing ISOBUS terminals on tractors or farms.
Reduce maintenance frequency and increase usage time
Kuhn developed a proprietary hydraulic rotor transmission for his four rotor rake. The very limited repair needs provide you with time to handle more important matters. It runs smoothly and quietly, with minimal wear and tear, improving the comfort of hydraulic solutions.

Add one hour every day
The hydraulic rotor transmission using only a primary drive shaft can greatly reduce the number of maintenance times. You will eventually forget to lubricate the secondary drive shaft once a day, which can save an additional hour compared to a mechanical driven rake of the same size.
This can ensure a quick harvest of grass before it rains.
Proprietary Technology 1Higher stability and easier transportation on slopes
The connection device of the integrated suspension system can improve the flexibility during driving and increase the stability between the tractor and the rake during turning. This can improve driving performance on uneven roads, while achieving non bumpy driving during turns and when only raising one side of the rotor in the field.
Proprietary Technology 2Vehicle mounted hydraulic power
The hydraulic devices of GA13131 and GA15131 are installed on the rotating spindle box of the machine frame. In this way, the primary drive shaft is always perfectly aligned with the tractor, even during sharp turns. In addition, you can adjust the PTO speed in the cab according to the type and amount of grass. To further reduce fuel costs, the 1000 (standard) and 750 (optional) MIN-1 gearboxes can be chosen. In summary, hydraulic transmission can significantly simplify machines and provide multiple solutions to improve work.
