There are two cycloidal spiral spindles inside the cylindrical housing of the SRZ twin-screw flowmeter, and their geometrically overlapping contours form high-precision interlocking inside the housing. This forms a closed measurement chamber between the spindle profile and the shell wall. These measurement chambers are used to transmit the measured medium. The medium is guided and flows axially through the hole of the measuring chamber, causing the spindle to rotate. There is no pulsation and minimal leakage during this process. A non-contact frequency measuring element with a high-speed pulse disk is used to measure the rotational speed of a pair of spindles relative to the housing wall. The rotational speed of the spindle is directly proportional to the volumetric flow rate over a wide range. The number of pulses corresponding to a unit volume can be used for analysis of measurement data. The low pressure loss and low shear force characteristics of flow meters make them very suitable for measuring high viscosity media.
