1、 Product Overview
Reactive power compensation capacitors are important equipment for achieving reactive power balance in power systems. In recent years, reactive power issues have received widespread attention from the power sector, and complete sets of reactive power compensation devices have been widely deployed in distribution networks. The power supply requires real-time balance between active and reactive power in the system. Therefore, reactive power compensation devices should meet the requirements of automatic tracking and real-time compensation, which inevitably requires frequent switching of reactive power compensation capacitor banks. The switching operation of the capacitor bank will generate overcurrent and overvoltage impact, causing damage to the capacitors. To ensure the reliability of the equipment, early detection of capacitor defects and avoid the expansion of faults require regular testing. On site, capacitors are all connected in parallel in groups. The traditional method is to remove the capacitor busbar and use an old-fashioned capacitance meter for measurement. Due to the fact that the capacitor group is composed of dozens to hundreds of small capacitors, the workload of measuring capacitance by disconnecting the wires is very large. Moreover, frequent disconnection can cause screws to slip or not be tightened, leaving safety hazards and easily causing secondary damage to the capacitors. Therefore, it is highly desirable to have a testing instrument that can measure the capacitance of various small capacitors without disconnecting wires, reducing the burden on maintenance personnel, improving the efficiency of maintenance work, and enhancing the safety of distribution network operation.
Based on the actual situation on site, our company has researched and developed this instrument that uses a new experimental method for measurement. 2、 Functional Features
l JDD-50A Fully Automatic Capacitor and Inductance TesterThis instrument can measure the individual capacitance of a group of parallel capacitors (both single-phase and three-phase capacitance can be measured) without disconnecting the wires. At the same time, it can also measure the inductance of various reactors, meeting various on-site needs.
l During measurement, this instrument can display not only the measured capacitance or inductance values, but also the measured voltage, current, power, frequency, impedance, phase angle, and other data, in order to better analyze the quality of the test sample;
